I have been a public school art teacher and an artist for many years. So inspired by children’s creativity, I continually seek to expand the limits of expression through different materials. Since moving to Rockport in 2008, I have been devoting much of my time to ceramics. I do much of my work out of Cynthia Curtis Pottery in Rockport. I am mostly involved with creating thrown and assembled sculptural forms as well as objects for every day use. Texture and carved surfaces are a huge part of my work. Clay just begs to be textured!
